Beyond the Deal to Host Integration Briefing

Beyond the Deal LLPBeyond the Deal, a consultancy specialising in mergers and acquisition integration, is holding an integration briefing in London on December 11th.

The briefing, which will focus on the impact of cultural differences on acquisition value, will be held at Dryden Street, Covent Garden. A practical framework for understanding and discussing organisational culture will be provided by Beyond the Deal's integration experts and researchers, coupled with insights into the importance of assessing your own current and desired culture.

Approaches to assessing the culture of target acquisitions and understanding how cultural differences impact integration planning will additionally be dissected.

According to Beyond the Deal's Dr. Thora Thorsdottir, "Studies consistently show that the main reason acquired businesses fail to deliver the value expected is due to cultural issues.  Differences in behaviours, values and assumptions get in the way of effective integration such that communication fails, efficiency falls and costs escalate.

"If cultural issues and their consequences can be anticipated, then they can be addressed, avoided or otherwise mitigated.

"Whether you just want to understand the subject better, or want to add something to your acquisition & integration toolbox, this briefing will help you. It will discuss practical ways to assess your own organisational culture as well as that of potential targets, even without their direct involvement."

Those who wish to register for the briefing can do so at the Beyond the Deal events page
